Various elements of the incubator environment must be measured in order to provide an ideal environment for organisms to survive and/or reproduce.  This edition contains interesting facts about the requirements for temperature, humidity and CO2 within a few different types of incubators.

Fun Fact:  The first known incubator was invented in Ancient Egypt around 3000 B.C.E. Ancient Egyptians learned that the rate of successfully hatched chickens increased drastically when they put the fertilized eggs in a big oven built out of bricks.
