Mapping a room or chamber is a complex and detailed topic. This Fun Facts issue gives a high level informational overview.
Rules of thumb for logger placement:
- Small rooms or chambers (5x2x5 or smaller) - measure at 9 points, each corner and the center.
- Large rooms and/or rack warehouses - place every 10 - 15m horizontally and every 4 - 6m vertically.
